“Ningbo runs a major deepwater port and has a cargo throughput of more than 100 million tons. Railways connect with Xiaoshan, Shanghai, and Zheliang. Key industries include machinery, housewares, electronics, and large-scale harbor-based industries represented by petrochemicals, iron and steel, power generation, and paper making.
